A Self Opinionated View

hello. my name is marcus ac and welcome to my blog.
and this is my blog entry.
or should i say,
''my personal opinionated point of view'' web diary?

so why is that when most bloggers post an entry,
and i mean most, not all, expect some kind of reaction?

isn't the reason for a blog just to pen your thoughts and views,
share the ''how was my day'' and maybe, just maybe,
improve on the english language?

of course as readers we like the ''sharing'',
enjoy the tongue in cheek humor and the cheap advise.
i personally enjoy Mr.Brown and Bong QiuQiu's blogs.
Mr.Brown has the balls to poke fun at just about anything
all in the name of a good laugh.
Bong QiuQiu is really the sweet next door Ah Lian who is always
so earnest and sincere.
and then there are those who claim to be Blog Experts,
giving Expert Criticism on just about anything!
they would be talking about makeup and beauty products
with no background to their credit.
don't even get me started on Food Bloggers.
where does one get to be a Food Blog Expert?
what course do you take to comment about ''local delicacies'' ?

don't get me wrong,
i love reading a self opinionated view of just about anything.
be it the new NARS makeup,
the cheapest botok clinics in Bangkok,
Prince Harry's naked in Vegas,
lousy service at Comme Des Garcons or
will the real Ban Ban please stand up?

but that's what it is, A SELF OPINIONATED VIEW.
and that's what a blog is about, isn't it?

well... that's my view.
and i think my english language is improving two.

43

43 is something new to me.

frankly i'm into being 43 for just about a week and

strangely enough, it feels the same.

so what should i look for at 43?

does work change?

or how i dress?

or for that matter where i shop?

what is this thing called Mid Life Crisis?

is it Man-O-Pause?

am i half way done with Life?

i don't know...

43 is new.

and so far its been good.

No stress. Work is good. Family's happy.

the only thing that's missing for now is a long overdue holiday.

so.

why don't i do that first and get back to u before i'm 44.

i love singapore...

with the country turning another year older there's a new campaign called
'' I LOVE SINGAPORE Because... ''
it's all over the bus stops, malls, heartland estates.
it's so everywhere, it's kinda hard to miss.
and it got me started.

i love singapore because
... i am no longer the minority race.
... i can play tourist in my own country.

that's all i have.
